Sh. Prabhat Ranjan Gupta Chief consultant and President Design & Engineering at IIPL has designed various plants mainly in Steel industry in various geographical locations. He was wide body of work in designing and engineering of Steel Plants including Rolling Mills, SMS plants, DRIs, Pellet Plants, Beneficiation plant, Ferro- alloys plant etc. of various brown field and green field projects in West Africa, West Asia, South Asia, South-East Asia and domestically in India.

A scholar throughout his studying days, Sh. Gupta is B.E. (Civil) from M.I.T, Muzaffarpur and has over 25 years of experience in consulting, designing and engineering works for various, Civil, Structural and Pre-Engineered Building works. He has worked for premium consulting engineering firms like R. Singh & Associates Pvt. Ltd. and Korus Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. before venturing on his own with Hrishik Consultants.
